This is actually an undergraduate (mostly freshman) dorm. We called it the Barbie Prison among other unflattering things...

Max Palevsky dormitory, built in 2003. Houses most of the younger undergrads. The designer wanted the colors to reflect the arizona sunsets. Arizona sunsets, desert to your door in Chicago I guess.
